The Lyric is an old music theatre in Birmingham, Alabama that was restored in 2015. I love the Lyric, with its beautiful interiors and eclectic history. It’s a place to go for a special occasion.
With that in mind, the name for this new yarn should be self-explanatory. Lyric is a blend of superwash merino and silk, and like our Merlin Merino, the fibers are spun so that one ply takes the color a bit differently than the others, giving you fabulous, rich color in the skein. Colors play differently on Lyric, and as with Merlin, some colorways are designed just for its special features, while other colorways play beautifully, just differently, on Lyric than they will on other bases.
And, silk. Just enough silk. This yarn is lovely and special, and you definitely deserve some!
